I have a 2005 Exploder XLT, and a couple of days ago, the passenger side license plate light went out. I go to replace it, and it seems ford Epoxied it in there.
Who the hell thought epoxying a maintenance part would be a good idea? Anyone have any tips to get it out of the socket? Thanks!

Mine aren't epoxied.

Is this a truck you bought new?

On the Rangers, the bulb socket can be twisted loose from up behind the bumper, and it comes out of the housing that may be the part that you are referring to as being "epoxied" (i.e. permanently attached to the rear bumper?) - try getting at it from the "back" of the rear bumper.

Hope this helps.
