My last oil change was at 171.105 miles on 09/09/2022 and the computer now telling me that it needs to be changed.
It's 1.805 ahead of the scheduled time to change the oil.
Now my question is, is there a way to have the computer reprogrammed so it will come on at the correct time?
Thank you one and all.

I don't know how sophisticated the oil life monitoring was back then, but ideally it's supposed to take multiple things into account besides mileage, potentially engin RPM, running hours, temperature, etc. Is it possible you have a severe duty scenario and do need to change it every 10 months or so?

I don't know of any way to reprogram parameters like that, but I might send some oil to blackstone labs for an analysis to be sure it's really good for another 1800 miles, though ironically very often I see people reporting that their canned response is "it's good for another 2000 mi".

What interval is it 1800 miles shy of?
