wierd tranny issues. diffrent from threads already posted!!!!!!

ok my wife and i have a 2002 explorer eddie bauer edition with roughly 110,000 miles on it. my wife was driving home last night when the o/d light started to flash extremely fast and the check transmission messege was displayed in the messege center. my confusion is this, ive read almost all the threads and everyone has had this problem but the diffrence with my problem is that it drives fine! it doesnt shake or make any noises or anything. i took it to aamco and he said it pulled a p0741 code and it could either be a bad torque converter or a bad selenoid. but i just dont get how it can drive just as good as new and send this code like it has. im new to the site and i couldnt find a transmission forum. if anyone has any information at all i would greatly appreciate it. but like i said it drives great and im just clueless as to whats wrong with it.

P0741 - Torque Converter Clutch Soleniod Stuck Off or Closed

The transmission solenoid pack is prone to problems. Mine was driving fine, then then out of the blue started shifting hard and got the rapid blinking OD light too. Shift solenoid 3 was bad. No warning on mine either.. Just bam!

Could be solenoid? We have seen alot of valve body concerns for this code and the dealership. Also there is a oring on the input shaft which deteriotes and causes the same code.
