Have a 97 XLT 4.0 sohc Tru Trac. The problem I'm having is driving down the road at highway speeds between 60 and 70mph, let off gas and apply brakes to slow down and get a loud gear grinding sound.. Put it into neutral and it stops, put it back in gear and starts again.. get slowed down to about 50 or lower and is gone... There is no slipping, if I leave it in gear and step on gas it goes away... What could this be? Please help....
