Hello everyone,

My wife was convinced to buy me a 3" bodylift from PA for christmas :D I have been a memeber of this site for quite sometime, I don't post much, I mostly sponge knowledge from you all. Oh thanks for that, I have fixed so many things on my Ex with using "search" here and reading. Even when stuff isn't broken, I read as much stuff on here as I can. So many wicked rides and smart mechanics. Anyhooooo....

So, most people on here say go for the PA bodylift, taking into consideration manual or automatic. Ok. I have an automatic, I have done my reading and such, shouldn't be a problem. What about the transfer case shifter? Inevitably it is going nearly be almost gone once the BL is on won't it? I don't think I saw anything touch base on this one, if I missed it please correct me or steer me in the right direction.

Will I need something for my 4x4 shifter when installing a 3" BL on a 1994 Explorer, XL, 4x4 with an automatic transmission??

I would think you would need something. I don't know a whole lot about body lfts though. I believe that the reason it isn't talked about much is because most people don't have a manual **** transfer case.(I think)

Yea they dont sell anything to extend the length of the t-case shifter so I just welded a piece of tube over the end of it to extend mine.
