Will an adapter for a 1st generation MAF fit on a 2nd generation MAF?

I was thinking about getting a 2nd generation MAF the thing is I already have an adapter for a 1st generation and I dint want to have to buy another one.

yes, i had a first gen maf with the cone and adapter, then i bought the 2nd gen maf and it fits.
