- 96 Ranger XLT 4.0 Ext cab
Hey there
My 96 Ranger 4.0 with a 4R55E has a delay in engaging reverse. I have to let the thing sit in gear before letting the brake go. Will adjusting the bands with the screws on the side of the transmission help- even if the 4R55E has no adjustment for the low/reverse band?
Praying it's not needing a rebuild.
