I am having just a little problem out of my truck. Sometimes it will crank and sometimes it wont. I have
replaced the battery, starter, alternator, ignition switch,
plugs & wires, MAS, and I still cannot figure it out. I have
also replaced the starter solenoid. Its like it will not
crank when it gets heated up, and I haven't had any trouble
out of my truck until after it rolled over 104,000 miles. And since then its like a totally different truck. Is there
something that I am missing, or is there something I haven't
thought about yet. It will crank after it sits for a couple
of hours, but after I drive it for about 30 minutes or more,
it will not crank, sometimes. It doesn't happen each time I try to start it up, just sometimes. I need some help fast,
before I decide to go get a Z71!!!!

how about

i had a 85 Grand Marquie, not an explorer i know but stil the basics. exact same symptoms as yours and the cause was the control module thing, seems to be it will start cold but as soon as it gets hot it stalls. check into that if not just another option to rule out. good luck

One thing is see you haven't changed is your battery cables. The positive side cable seems to be the first to start giving you problems. I had a similiar problem and as soon as I changed them out, prob gone.
