Will the problems ever stop????

Just when we fix one problem, we develop another.

After rebuilding the sending unit assembly and thinking everything was working great.

I went to use my cruise today, I can feel the acc set, but it does not retain the speed. Is there something we missed when we replaced the sending unit???

I also have a lock issue, but know that isn't related!!!!

Should I just accept that this is the way things will alway be, a constant fixerup or should I just shoot her and put it out of it's misery?

Ponypal, just smile man and take one problem at a time. I wish I could help, but I'm a cruise control idiot.

No matter what you have, things will always break. Nothing lasts forever and has to eventually break down. Think of it this way, you now have however many parts you don't have to worry about breaking or going bad because you have already replaced them.
