Found a couple of driveshafts for sale on craigslist and I was wondering if they would fit my explorer. If anyone knows the measurements if you could please post them I would greatly appreciate it. Here is a picture of the ones I might purchase and the email from the guy selling them....

"Drive shaft 1 measures 43 ½” drive shaft 2 measures 27” did not include extra swivel on joint. NOTE THESE DO SLIDE SO MEASUREMENT WILL CHANGE I MEASURED FROM CENTER OF UJOINTS END TO END I would like to get a 100.00 for both. Let me no if that will work for you."

Let me know what you think. Mine are very rusty and should probably be replaced soon.

I'm saying no but don't quote me. The AWD front shaft has a CV joint that bolts to the t-case. The one pictured is a double cardan.

What are they off of?

Beside being a different shaft then what you need, I think you need one thats 25 1/2 inches long from weld to weld. I ordered one and it was to long, even though it was made for a AWD with the CV end. For some reason Ford has different lenth shafts, so measure before buying.
