Qts: 0.66
Vas: 14 liters
Sd: 140 cm^2
Xmax: 8mm one way linear, 12mm one way peak
Re: 3.5 Ohms
Le: 0.45 mH
"A nice little performer! True 4 Ohm impedance, run it with a clean 30-50W per channel and you'll have great results. "

Just want something to replace my blown stocker. If the 4ohm load is a problem can I just dial down the gain on the head unit to stay safe?

im sorry nan, but that 6.5 is by no means subwoofer, it is in all rights, a midbass driver, and should be used to help fill in freq. between a true sub and the midranges. JL makes a 6.5" W0 that should be used in the same way. they will not hit low enough to be properly used as a sub. an 8" will work as a sub if you just listen to rock music, rap goes way to low for it (i had 8's in the past)

The stock sub that comes with a 95 eb isn't a true subwoofer either, is it?

I was hoping this would be the right size to replace the stock rear sub and even be a little better. This thing has 12mm peak excursion that getting near their legendary shiva subwoofer level for 30bucks.

pokface it technichaly is classified as a sub but it will not properly hit the lows. i am an audiophile, i had only had my X 1.5 days when i picked up some new JL's and threw them in. if you want any kind of clear low bass a 6.5 will not do it.
Tell me why do you want a 6.5" sub? you can easily make a 8 or a 10 fit in the stock location, i have even seen a 12 back there.

where is the stock sub in a 2000 xlt?
