will this factory HU work in my 3rd gen ex?

I saw this online and thought it looked better then my stock unit ( it is the stock one disc unit that comes in the 3rd gen) Does anyone know if it will hook up directly without any mods?

The ad says it will fit 02-04 explorers but to my knowledge the silver radios only came in the sports and possibly the sport tracs. The only thing I can think of that might matter is wether or not the vehicle that it came out of had premium sound and wether or not yours does.

well, I do not have the premium sound or a subwoofer. My plan was just to add an aftermarket sub, then I saw this and I thought It would make a decent improvement to my base stereo. I do not want to put anything large or expensive in my ex, I plan on selling it within a year. From what I have been reading, as long as it has the T-100 plug, it will work. I will ask the seller.
