Will this work, or will I kill myself?????

After my last 4x4 trip which constited of crawling over several large rocks using only three wheels I decided that it was time for some sway-bar quick disconnects. I'm not sure if this would work or not. What if I were to remove the lower nut and store it away. Then take the bolt and drill a hole in it close to the sway-bar and insert a pin in the opening. Then all I have to do is remove the pin and pull out the bolt to remove the sway-bar. Please help me out. Will this work at all?
