Wind noise from doors

I am starting to develop wind noise from the drivers side front and rear door.

Any ideas on a simple fix?

sorry.. couldn't resist. i don't know a real answer. maybe the weather stripping stuff is going bad?

When I started getting a little bit of wind noise at the right rear door of "Money Pit", it was the weatherstripping on the body that door sealed to. It had sagged a very small amount at the top of the door opening and the door was not sealing as well to it as it had been. This happened back when she was under warranty so Ford took care of it - I don't know how much this repair would have been.

Move the door striker in just a hair.

Take a T45 ( I believe ) Torx socket , loosten the striker slightly , tap it in just a hair , tighten.

Should be it.

to fix that ourselves, isnt there some kind of "weatherstripping adhesive" to use? i think there is, but im not sure; i never messed with this kind of thing since i havent had any problems yet.

I had the same problem, the weatherstripping was coming loose above the mirror. I got some weatherstripping adhesive from Walmart, I think 3M makes it.

The dealer replaced the weatherstripping. In my case, the weatherstripping's attachment to the body (where it was glued) hadn't sagged or moved, the weatherstripping itself, in the part that compresses, had drooped and wasn't sealing well anymore. It wasn't a matter of glueing the weatherstripping back to where it needed to be or of adjusting the door strike to hold the door farther in - the weatherstripping, for one reason or another, had deformed.
