Window channel gasket

The window channel (rubber) won't stay in place on my passenger side frot door. It doesn't fall out, but it comes loose, while the window is up, and causes some serious wind noise. Would there be a problem if I glued it in place? I'm pretty sure it is supposed to be able to move, but I'm not really wanting to shell out $75 for a new one. If anyone has any thoughts, I'd love to hear them.

Would it be possible to see a picture of this? Short of gluing your window permanently shut, I don't see a down side to gluing it. Worst case, you have to cough up $75 to replace it if it doesn't work.
