windsheild wipers dont stop

i turn my windshield wipers on and they dont stop until i turn my sport trac off. during the winter when its cold they will work right but when my truck warms up they wont turn off again. any suggestions

Is it stuck on just one position or can you switch it high and low and intermittent?

I would almost say your switch is bad. Mine use to come on randomly. I replaced the turn signal lever and it straightened out the problem.

The switches tend to go bad because it is also the turn signal lever.
