Over the weekend, I cleaned the exterior of my engine using this spray from Advanced Autoparts. First you spray it on and then wash it off. As the engine was running, I sprayed out my windshield washer fluid, fine (obvisouly when I pushed the button). I added some fluid to it over the weekend. But not to the top. The canister didn't not have a max line, so I didn't fill it up all the way. Today when I tried it, it didn't work at all. No wining from the pump either. Don't know if any of this is related. I hoping that I do not need to buy a new pump. Anyone know the possibly problem?

Check the connections to the pump and see if you sprayed that stuff on it happen to wash some on it.

Try popping the hoses off of the resevoir and the working end blow air through them. I have had plugged hoses once and a while with my Ford products.

I thought of that myself, but wouldn't I here the wining noise that the pump makes?

Is it possible a fuse may have popped when water got into the system. Is there a fuse for the pump? Where is it located?

Thanks for the help.

I had a problem and it was my fuse for the pump. Its on the side of the dash in the inside of the car on the driver side fuse box. Replace that fuse if its poped...

You wouldn't happen to know in which area of the fuse box is it located, do you? If you don't know, that fine. It's just I don't want to pull out every fuse if I don't have to.

Hey, the windshield wipers still go up. Is that on a seperate fuse?

there is a fuse layout in the owners manual...there is a separate fuse for the whipers...I'll get the fuse location out of my manual tommorrow if you need it

I never saw one in my haynes manual or my regular one but I'll look again. Thanks for the help.

Ok I checked the fuse today and it was good. Also I blew all the lines with compressed Air. Still nothing. I am guessing a new motor is in the works.
