Windshield Wiper Motor Going????

It started about a month ago and The wipers would just stop and start making this Vibrating clicking noise and Would continue to do it till I help it back to its place, It wouldn't move at all while doing this. Now I can't even use my wipers because it does it everytime even if my windshield is clear or not. It kinda seems like it hits a lump in the windshield and gets hung up. Just a bad motor or could it be something else? Thnk you

You might want to check the splines that the wiper arm bolt onto and the wiper arms. The splines are made of aluminium and they then to strip. You'll need to remove the nut that hold it onto the splines and just wiggle it out or will require puller.
