For some reason my when I start the Truck up the first thing I have no radio and my wipers wont work. After about 15 minutes. Poof Magic.. they work. not a big problem until recently.

Not that they get alot of Rain in Saudi Arabia but it is the rainy season (ok week or two). Sometimes the out of the blue poof off!

In the mornings I have to wait until everything is defogged. It is begining to get on my nerves.

I recently got my new Lights & Radio but I've checked everything. No loose wires, No bad fuses.

I took it to a mechanic he said it maybe my ignition switch? Anyone ever hear of this of is it a short somewhere?

Did you try to wiggle the fuse? For some reason my fuse contacts were slightly bent and they were causing the problem

The General Electronics Module (GEM) controls all things electrical, and that might be going bad (see Phantom Wipers)

do you have an autostart system? if you do and even though you are starting it by key it might be faulting, so try disconnecting it, i've seen it happen before and most typically with vehicles using a pats key system

Jason - I'll try the fuses again, I wiggled all sorts of wires under there. Even removed the Radio (new one installed last year) wiggled all sorts of wires.

TPLynch - I recently had my wiper switch changed is that the GEM? I'll search...

TStone - No, I don't have the remote starting system. It obviously doesn't get cold enough for that.

Well actually it was at 62`F this morning!!! If it gets below 60`F then I'll have reason to get it!

I'm putting it in the shop next week for its yearly Total System Purge. I was really hard on her this past weekend on the way home from camping my friend says lets take a short cut across the desert it will same some time. After about 55 miles we were through. It was awesome. I was Airborne quite a few times. I felt like I was in the BAJA 1000. Now I have squeaks at everyturn, and every bump.
