wired beep when truck is first started

hey guys when i first start my x up it will run for about 5 secondesand then a beep will come on it beeps 3 sets of 5 beeps so i found were the noise was comming from it was a little black box right above the passneger floor mat on the wall under the glove box. i unplugged it and my motor started to bog down and die. i have no clue what this is if you haven any ideas please help

i just did some research to see if any one else had this problem and some people did said it was the air bag system and today i actually pulled the airbag light out for i could pass inspection so maby thats ittttt

thats what happens when the light is out it beeps weather its burnt out or missing the ecu sees that and sounds a tone

My EX is also doing this do to the airing light being burned out. I don't have the time to ripp the instrument cluster apart and cuange the bulb. Did unplugging the box stop the beeping ??

no when i unplugged the box the mottor started to stall out
