So I was fixing the recirc door behind the dash, and had partially pulled the dash to get at it. I thought I had disconnected the steering column, but it appears that when I pulled the dash, I partially pulled one of the bushings out of the shifter tube, and now the steering column is able to flop around in the tube. I have been able to partially push it back in, but it has come out a couple times pretty quickly.
Any good ideas on how to reseat the bushing? Do I need to take the whole thing out to do it? If so, any tips on how to do that?
Thanks in advance for any help you might have.
