wont start

alright today i cleaned the iac and changed the fuel filter. It wants to start but then spudders and dies. What could the problem be?

I guess another question might be, can you keep it running by working the gas pedal or does it die no matter what? Here is something to try. Disconnect the electrical connector from the IAC. You will probably have to turn up the throttle adjuster screw to be able to run without the IAC. This may help isolate if the IAC is causing any issues. You can also measure the TPS voltage just to make sure that isn't giving you a bad reading.
 






ive tried using the gas to make it start but that doesnt help
 






Check and make sure that none of the vacuum lines have broken/popped off, especially at the Fuel Pressure Regulator. If you smell gas, can you determine where exactly the smell is coming from? You could have a leak in your fuel line too.
