Hey guys! Would a sub fit under the backseat of a sport? I dont want to have anything really sticking out so people know about it - i just wanna surprise the crap out of them when i run over them :D

if not, where would you suggest putting it?

No there is No room under the rear seat in a sport. If you want to have a sub and keep it stealth. Do like I have and get a Stealth Box. You can get either the JL Box, Q-Logic makes an empty box, that is what I have, and then you put what ever sub you want in it.

Let me know if you need anymore information.:)

lol i should just email you all of my questions dude! yah thats what i thought that i would have to do, but i didnt want to loose those two little things back there ... but that does look great .. :D

do they make them especially for our trucks? i know i know i sound like such a girl, but the other day when i went into best buy i think it was they were like well what kind do you want? and i was like something nice looking ... i like these .. and i pointed to ones that were blueish silver because they were cool looking and the guy was like "i dont think that i am going to have something that you deem is pretty - speakers aren't pretty" i was like buttface!!!! and then left ...

I bet if you were to get pretty crafty/creative you could fit a pair of 8's under there. Would take some glassing and maybe lift the back seats a little, but would be pretty sweet if accomplished.

GREAT-- anohter stereo idea to put in my head, i need to start learning glassing so i can put these ideas to work.

LOL when you learn it good you can come do mine ... but how can you lift the seats in x's?

Put block spacers where the seats mount to the truck. I don't know how hard it would be to do, but the end result would probably be pretty sweet.

LOL, no you don't sound "like a girl", ok, well mabey you do! LOL & J/K. I understand totally about wanting it to look good! I really don't know anyone, guy or girl that wouldn't want their stuff to look good! Here is a funny thing I work Part Time at Best Buy and know exactly what you are talking about. We are not on commission and a lot of them really could care less if bought anything on not. Sorry about that. :(

Give me an idea of what you are really looking for out of your Car stereo. Do you want a lot of Bass, Crystal clear sound, or just a good full sound system. Also what was your perposed budget?

lol ... thank you - seriously i want something that isnt too flashy but yet i dont want it to be like LOOK ITS YELLOW, i can add 9845248 horsepower ...

I just looked at JL Audio at those stealthboxes - pretty cool .. plus there is a dealer right near me ... which is always a plus ...

hmm.. outta my car stero I want it to be bassy, but i dont want to have to add dyna-mat to every inch of my car ... it'd rattle my brain too much .. lol ... kinda just a mixture of both bassy sound and good sound .... not too overwhelming on anything ... i mean even switching my cd decks made a huge difference ...

lol budget ... i dont wanna spend 2,000 on a system persay simply because the car payments a month are around 298 - and i've had an accident & and ticket ... insurance basically rapes me every six months - 1596.23 (i just made a payment this morning - still hurting from it) basically i think right now, i'm looking for an inexpensive something that might just shock some people - and the stupid GirlieGirl Racing people we have around here ...

For my entire system i spent under a grand, but i kept the factory head unit. I am very happy with the JL subs, all of my past subs have been JL and all my future will be as well. They are clear and hit hard. My next system will be crazy stupid, and expensive, but i feel i got the best boom for the buck with my first system.

Past systems -
98 Saturn Coup - JL 6.5 mid and 1" tweets in front, started with 2 JL 10w0's, eclipse 75x2 amp and a ppi sedona amp pushing around 150 watts to each sub. The last system in it before I sold it was the same front speakers and ecliipse amp, but i upgraded to 3 10w6's and a PPI art series amp pushing about 200 watts to each sub.
