x sport stock setup have any 31 inch tire rubbing issues?

I have a friend who wants his 2001 2wd explorer sport to fit 31 inch tires. Does anyone have a stock 01-04 with 31 inch tires? Any rubbing at all? He would not be going 4 wheelin - just wants a more aggressive look -

31s will most likely rub on a stock explorer

throw some shackles on and crank the torsion bars and 31's will fit fine
