I am interested in knowing about the fit and finish of the xenon fender flares to a 4 door stock xlt. Particularly below the rear quarter panel where the trim and the chrome panel come together just behind the rear wheel but mostly in general do they work well.
I like the steroid look,my tires are standard sized, but couldn't afford (didn't need the lame computer taking up space) the Eddie Bauer or Limited with the stylized flares.
xenon seem to have the most unique product and offer a running board that fits nicely with their flares.
I thought about going to a body shop and getting a price estimate for the stock flares-running board trim kit but haven't really decided yet.
One other thing I don't know is are all explorer bodies thru the years (4 door) basically the same when you get down to the sheet metal or is there a break in style between model years?
This is my 3rd expl. Had a '90 4x2,95 sprt 4x4 and now a 2000 4x4.
Wonderful to see all the expl zonks.
