Hi all. 99 Eddie Bauer with stock single CD sound system.
I've just gotten an XM Commander. It has a hard wired reciever. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice about the best way to wire power. The unit needs Positive, Ground and Accessory. I figure I can splice into some wires behind the radio, but I don't know if this is the best solution.
Also, has anyone used this XM radio in their 99 EB? If so, where did you mount the reciever? Thanks!

I used the power wire from the HU to power mine so it turns off and on with the car. I ground mine to a bar behind the dash. The accesory wire I tapped into the cigarette lighters power. This setup has worked perfectly for me since I've had mine. I love XM. Click on my link for pics of my install...
