ya now i got a transfer case leak...

its leaking from the bottom of the gasket.

im going to try the stop leak stuff, and re-fill it with ATF.

the drain and fill plugs have that square drive right?

Yeah the drain/fill plugs are 3/8" drive (a socket wrench).

Where is the leak coming from? If its between the transmission and the transfer case (at the tailshaft housing), then its probably transmission fluid that has made its way into the tailshaft housing. I'm not sure if its normal to have transmission fluid there but my transmission has had fluid there for a while so I dunno.
