Becareful when working under the hood, no loose clothing, tie up long hair, no jewlery....It may get sucked in! Are my eyes playing with more or am I really seeing 95mm?

Your eyes aren't playing tricks, I saw it in person when I was down there a couple of weeks ago and it's huge.

Good luck with the tuning, I can't wait to see what it'll do going down the track.

Jon
That is "officially" a 90mm lightning. Obviously I had to upgrade so now it has a new home. Will work perfectly with Jon's setup. We will be doing some remote tuning in the near future. Thanks for the opportunity, I am so excited.-jh

Or, if you don't have a chart then....

90MM * .03937 = 3.543

OR

90MM / 25.4 = 3.543

Jake are you being a smart alec!:p: Just had to show me up.LOL. That is good information. Thanks man.

How much is it? and will it adapt to stock tube.

Not cheap and no it won't--this is for an engine which needs quite a bit of airflow. For instance-your truck has 19lb per hour injectors-
I am tuning my 42lb injectors---

Not at all. I just do this sort of crap everyday.

When James is done tuning this truck, I fully expect rubber through all gears--

let's go for 300 feet! 150 is childs play.I can do that now with only 61 percent throttle. blah

My problem will be hooking up. I think I will miss the AWD in that respect.

:burnout:

Good to hear Jon. I believe I have the smaller first version of the Lightning MAF, it's plastic and was given to me.

I would have still changed the injectors though, 30's would have been very close to right for the 350hp level. The OBDII PCM's are amazing, an 88-95 Mustang would not run with 42's in it. Keep it on the road.

That will work if you give him the tires.

Ok we will place a friendly bet, if you make 300 feet or more i will send you an all Canadian blend Coffee.

If you don't make 300 feet you have to send me a coffee from Columbia and it must be nice and warm when it arrives.. :)

Hint
I only drink unflavored-black COLUMBIAN coffee. Nothing else. not even the civet cat stuff will do.

But, I do spend money--:D

Ok i have an old set of bald ones in the backyard... np's i will send them for free... :)

cool,
i'd love to roast down a set of 235's if I didn't have to buy them.

I think my tires are 275mm wide

275/25.4= wide tire

they are around 10.5" wide at the tread.

The first gen Lightning meters were 80MM. I don't believe that would be enough for Jon. I am very interested to get this remote tuning started. I am also interested to see how his truck will run. Once tuned, Jon can safely go wot. One thing about it, getting this truck to idle the way I want it to will be a definate challenge but I am up to the task. If I can get a 4.6L with stage 3 cams to idle smooth this should be a little easier. We will go into the remote tuning details in another thread at which time Jakee will probably chime in. He is also setup to remote tune but I believe his other priorities are keeping him from being able to at this moment.

So that's a wide band O2 sensor, for the tuning? Those take a normal O2 bung yes? I will probably be making new cat pipes in the next 10,000 miles, so five bungs would be just as easy to do as four. How much is that, the good kind? I've got some cheap crap that should be tossed from years ago.

If I understand it correctly, this is the wideband, with the tuning software and xcal-laptop-PCM interface dealio--

dyno in a box!
