Tekman05 is planning on going to the test and tune at KCIR november 23 and hopefully I'll be joining him. Does anyone else want to come out and play with us?
Unfortunately I'm going to have to back out too, it seem that I MURDERED my right rear tire this morning leaving work and I don't want to drive on it out of the city, sorry.
Ahh dang I didn't even see this thread. But that sucks Eric, but definitely get that fix. It would have been a blast. Let's plan for next March when they open up again. But I will try to get someone to record videos of some of my runs. I'll represent for the forum lol

Yes, Just for you I'll remember to save my time slips this time and i'll try to remember the order and the car's that I end up matched against. What do you mean the N/A list??
lol ohh ok. You mean I should be in the top 3 of all the Explorers on this forum for not being turbo, super, or nitrous charged?? Wow thats pretty impressive, I thought for sure the 4.6 explorers stock were still quicker than us?

Your probably just a hair faster than a 3rd gen right now, and a 4th gen v8 would probably beat me too, but no one has actually posted track times, so while there are probably a bunch of explorers/mountaineers that would beat your or I in a race, they haven't actually been to the track so until that happens we can sit up on the podium.
It always makes me wonder though what the 3rd and 4th generations are capable of if they had the same amount of modifications we do now. Although I like how nice the 4.6's are I'd probably have to stick to the ruggedness of the 2nd Gen 5.0!! Long live Solid Axles!!
