I did a search and didn't see anything on this product, so here is what I have.

My wife's '05 Camry's headlights were pretty fogged over. Her dad had the Mothers product already and told me to give it a try. I have always been skeptical of things like this, but I finally got around to it today and the stuff actually works. These pics are after just a quick passover and I'll be doing it one more time to get them real nice and clear.

I didn't get the camera (phone) out until after I did the first one was already done.

I like you am a bit skeptical of these things too, but your pictures don't lie. It's real sad to see headlights that are only 7 years old to be so foggy. My mothers 2000 Jeep has piratically yellow lenses. I think I may buy some for her, and give it a try.

Colin- make sure you keep them waxed now, as the UV protection coating is what fogs and is removed from the lights. They will yellow up/fog quite fast now with the coating gone, especially where you are at...

I have seen some kits with a "hardener" in them, I assume it is pretty much a sealant, which has a hard outer coating of something to protect the lenses?

Not sure- I've always used 3M Finish Restore or Meg's PlastX on mine. I just keep them sealed with a polymer wax to prevent yellowing/refog...

I use the 3m kits at work. They make the job easy.... Unless there is a coating on the lens. Had a avalanche that took 2 1/2hrs because i hand to wetsand that coating off first

I actually took mine and wet sanded them with 2000 grit sand paper, and then waxed them.

Thanks, Joe. I'll keep an eye out and if they yellow, I'll do it again then wax them.

The Mother's Kit comes with some little square sand paper pads (2000 I believe) if you need them.

Once you guys get to a stage where they are "perfect", you could consider getting a layer of clearbra on them. For my Paseo, I scored some Cynos (a Paseo in some other countries) headlights off eBay. The seller polished the clearcoat off, and left a perfectly clear lens. I knew they would cloud fast, so I talked to my tint/clearbra installer. He said he has clearbra on all his headlights, for numerous years, with no problems. So, here they are after clearbra...

Good addition, Kent...
