1st time winch success

her's a human interest story i thought i'd share. i just finished mounting my winch into my cuystoim front hitch the other day and have been dying to use it. well today i got my chance. this morning my buddy in his full size dodge ram 2wd got stuck parking on a grass hill. he was facing downward and due to all the rain he couldnt back up it to get out. i went up there and pulled him right out. worked flawlessly. i have never had a winch before but i cant wait for this winter to use it in the mountains . people get stuck here all the time once the snow starts. this little ramsey rep 8000e works great.

cool, i never have had a winch before,but IMO i do not see why so many people mount there's to the front bumper! every time i got stuck with friends or by myself i got want to back up and go around not get pulled in farther
