This winch a good deal?

Ok, I found an 8,000 Roadshock winch on Craigslist that the guy only wants $150 for.

I know you get what you pay for but in 8 years of driving I can count on one hand the number of times I've been stuck enough to need a winch.
I know this thing will be outrageously slow and it looks like it's a cheapy Chinese brand from Harbor Freight but beyond that does anyone have any experience with these?

He told me that he can hook it up and show it work.

Thoughts?

i wouldnt trust it even for $150 at least if you buy an warn or milemarker or some brand name winch if it fails you can rebuild them usually for cheap. you would probably be buying a big paper weight
