Bear with me first time in chat board.I was coming home and my check engine light came on my 94 xlt explorer. I pulled over and looked under it and transmission fluid was pouring out. I never had any problems before except if i drove a long way 300 miles or more trip i could smell something burning or like something was getting hot. I had it checked out before they found nothing wrong before all this happened. Service station said tranny seal was bad so we put it on car trailer and brought it home. We got the tranny out and sent it to tranny specialist and he replaced bushings filter and seal and told me he thought something else caused my tranny seal to go out. We flushed the tranny lines put tranny back in and I drove and it won't shift into overdrive. It is an automatic. The engine was hot too and I only drove a couple of blocks. We are draining radiator and flushing it and I also bought a new thermostat. Does anyone have any suggestions or has this happened to you. thank you
