All right here is the deal. 97 explorer. Few days ago when i started up my truck i would here a clicking underneath the dash. It would go on for about 3 min then stop. Heat would sometimes work, sometimes not. after all the talk about the blend door i figured that was the problem. I have tried the simple soulution with the nail trick and the problem is i cannot get the acuator back in with the nail in the "D shaped pin". I can get the accuator back in the spot with the nail out of the pin. It still does this clicking from the accuator. I can see it and here it really easily. The thing that is weirding me out is the blend door was replaced on this vehicle 3 years ago already(30,000 miles ago). Can it really be the problem again? Doesn't seem likely. Also, sometimes i get heat, sometimes i don't, but i always for 3 or 4 days now have been getting this clicking sound from the accuator.
