Can't figure it out

Have a 02 ford explorer that stopped running on me while I was going to turn into my driveway. That same day I tried to turn it on but it would only crank . Had it towed to my house and two days later I go out to try it and nothing. What could it be?

It could be anything. No crank? Crank no start? Can you check for any codes?

Take the spark plug wires off the ignition coil pack (remembering where each goes), clamp a wire to chassis (ground) and while a friend tries to start the engine, note whether you're getting spark from each contact on the pack.

If no spark, check whether the pack is getting input power with a multimeter during cranking. If there is spark on all, check fuel rail pressure, maybe the fuel pump or pressure regulator went out... assuming there is gas in the tank
