Electric Cooling Fan Mod

I have an '05 Limited and was wanting to do the Taurus electric fan mod but there is a lot of cutting and fabricating of the fan shroud. What I would like to do is use the electric fan out of a 2006-2011 Crown Vic. Has anybody done or thought of this. The car has a 4.6. I'm sure the rad and associated shroud are closer in size than a Taurus. One other thing what happened to all the pictures in the DIY write ups? None of them show up for me.

The crown Vic fan shroud would need a lot of trimming. I started with one but went another path. It’s biggest issue was it was at an angle. So there was more plastic on one end than the other, preventing it being used as is.

It also has over 100 amps inrush.

I used a 2001ish Mustang fan, it fit inside my OE shroud with some trimming.
