Now after I've fixed the torque converter and replaced the bearings in the rear end, my newest roaring noise is the rear wheel bearings. Apparantly you can buy the entire hub assembly for $200+ or just the bearing for half that. I wanted to know if anyone has done this? Is it just as simple as unbolting the hub, pressing out the old bearing, press in the new one, and reassemble? Or am I going to get into messing with the axle and needing special tools.
Any input would be helpful.
Thanks.
