i have a 04 Mountaineer with the 4.6
ill be driving and it will shift in and out of overdrive once its hot and i have been driving for a long time.
i dont have any codes yet..
i believe the overdrive servo is the culprit.
so do i have to put the brass sleeve in or ..buy a new servo from ford or ?
no codes were present when i went to autozone..
i can do a band adjustment if your saying to start thier is thier a sticky on that for easy instructions
I have owned this mountaineer for about 7 months or so..i am having problems with the transmission.
i have read alot about this issue..or complaint per say.
it shifts through all the gears fine.
speratically it will shift in and out of overdrive from 4th to 5th.
no overdrive light flashing...
