    You let it rev too high and boom it went, my transfer is wrong 1 my speedometer dont work and shifts slowly have been driving it for a year like this with no prob, change motor and get right transfer or use same 1 just b easy on the gas pedal

    I put a transfer case from a 98 explorer into my 97 explorer and diddnt realize speed sensors were different is there any way i can wire the sensors to make speedometer work

    Only reason i know is because i have a 97 explorer and put a 98 transfer into it couldnt afford new one but it works good just dont have speedometer

    Make sure u check witch speed sensor u have and that it matches the one u are buying if it dont ur speedometer will not work
