You're looking for T10 Bulbs. I bought mine off of amazon and they have worked well now for over a year. You are correct, there is just a small tab to compress to take off the lense.

Pictures! I literally have popped off every piece of trim in my vehicle to run any kind of aftermarket piece you can think of except a backup camera (which is on the to-do list).... I'm no stranger to removing all kinds of trim.

I do have it lifted with the Traxda Leveling Kit. The 17x9s run about 100 dollars a piece. Plus you have to buy the center caps and lugs. I don't have a specific link, but they were on summit.
