    Bad or Burnt Exhaust smell in cabin during hard acceleration.

    It’s an odd strong smell. It’s definitely exhaust fumes but I could see why some would say rotten eggs. It’s mostly noticeable about 30 seconds after accelerating hard.

    Ford offers free repairs to 1.4 Million Explorers - Exhaust

    Hi Peter, I believe the previous owner had gotten this performed which is why they went with step-2 of to attempt to resolve the issue which was to replace the exhaust, tips and reprogram the rear door to close “harder/tighter”. Still the car stinks inside :(

    Hey there. I got the exhaust replaced with the revised downward tips but the smell is still there. Not sure what to do at this point.
