Hello all, I have a 1999 Ford Explorer Limited. My rearview mirror fell off, like an idiot, I threw it away and snipped the wire leading to it. Now my air conditioning and heating system panel is blank and it’s not getting power. Any ideas

I have a 96' Ford Explorer Sport and my Heat/AC system is shot to hell. My AC does not work what so ever, apparently the (thingy) under the hood that's suppose to rotate doesn't so that's my indicator that my AC doesn't work. Also where my heat is concerned in...
I'm trying to find out how to fix a problem with the front vents not working at all. but my back vents work fine. Also, the temp changes from cold to hot on it's own. I have to turn the ac off to get it to go cold again. But that don't always work. Any suggestions?
