    92 4.0 explorer, engine rebuild. no power?

    i have a 92 explorer 4x4 with lost of miles and a long story short i hydrolocked it off roading. i got a 90 ranger 4.0 engine as a doner. had the heads done at the machine shop, valve job, resurfsed, the block i did nothing to, the cylinders had fresh cros hatches on all of them, with no lips...

    Engine Swap

    I hydrolocked my engine and it is beyond repair. I was wondering if anyone knew about the problems I might run into if I try to drop a 4.6 in (previously was a 4.0) my 2002 Explorer XLT. Or if it isn't even possible. Thanks Guys! Kevin
