1992 Explorer XLT - A/C setting on Max, blower on High...during hot days after truck has been sitting in the sun for a few hours the velocity of the air blowing out of the dash vents is only about 50%. But just after the A/C has been running for around 20 minutes or more, and the interior begins to cool off, the velocity is then begins to FULLY blow out the dash vents like it suppose to do. The blower itself seems to be working fine since I can hear the air moving inside the dash somewhere while it's on the High setting. Once something opens (cools?) or releases then that's when there's a blast of air coming through the dash vents with normal velocity.

I'm not even sure where to begin to look for resolving this. Is there a restriction in some vacuum line or is some door not switching open all the way when a/c lever is on Max due to an interior heat problem? Once the interior is cool the problem doesn't exist until interior gets really hot inside again.

Thanks!
