Stuck in 4 wheel low.

Hey, does any know what might be wrong with my explorer? It won't come out of 4 wheel low. Months prior to this, occasionally by 4 wheel high and low light would be blinking on my dash, but no other promblems until last night,

Welcome to the forum! I would say the shift actuator motor might be bad. I would suggest bringing it to a shop and having someone look at the truck. Driving around in 4Low is really bad for everything especially on dry pavement.

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the transmissions & transfer cases section. It sounds like the shift motor jammed as previously suggested.

Have you tried the usual IE: foot on brake, neutral, shifting into 4hi, wait for it to flash to 4hi on the indicator. If all else fails, have someone in the truck remove the shift motor off the t-case and put the t-case in 4hi after you have someone put the truck in neutral.
