I wish the explorer was still 4x4 solid rear independent front suspension body on frame truck like it used to be! In that case, I'd buy a new one in a heartbeat... especially if it came with the 5.0! Essentially take the 1st or 2nd gen and modernize it

Honestly I don't mind the 3rd and 4th gen those still had a v8 power plant and still had a great 4wd system unlike today's. If our 3rd gen didn't give us problems we'd probably still have it. Edit actually there's 30 years between those two ours is a 93
