yep, it's gone! lol, well in body the magnet was still there, but in function i was dead. for 1300 i got a rebuilt tranny, with two new sensors, and the rebuld kit....labour and re and re included - works like a charm now, my friction plates where gone as well...
However, upon getting the truck back, andtaking it out on the high way, which i haven't done in a while i guess (few weeks), we found that the overdrive pinion is slipping or simply not working...when on the highway, and i took my foot off the gas, there was this VERY loud and high pitch wine...essentilaly something connected to the wheels (drive shaft, diffs, tranny) was still spinning...so it turns out the be the overdrive....i have 245K km on my truck, 33" and i drive it hard, so as much asi'm not pleased that it's breaking down as much as it has recently, i figure it's about time...?
