Alright guys you havent failed me yet so here we go. The prob started that my driver window would not roll down with the door open door closed no prob.WEIRD!anyway i dealt now it does not operate at all. the passenger switch quit at the same time. unlock and p. mirrors still work.I tookoff door panel got out the volt meter and went to work everything has power if you switch the window switches with the lock\unlock swith they both work. The passenger window works but only from the switch on the passenger side.Haynes manuals fail to include a wiring diagram for my year and make.97' sport 2door 4x4.kinda ****ty.pardon my french!no blown fuses i can find .Motor works when power is applied and motor is off of the door ,so its not the motor.kinda think its a relay but cant find it.Also checked the junction box between the door hinges cleaned the contacts when i took it apart .Why did ford have to use that ,I'm sure it good for a bodyman but not for me anyway. I ordered an owners manual since i dont have one but i doubt it will help me with the relay.or diagram for that matter.other posts have stated the relay might be behind the instrument panel .Hope not :( any diagrams or help or advive would be great thanks in advance

There is no relays involved with windows. Just switches, cables, and motors. I didn't understand your comment about the lock/unlock. when your switch is locked, only the driver's side controls work.... the passengers should not.... I probably don't understand what you mean. Anyways, one reason for your passenger window not working from other than that control is that it isn't getting the appropriate voltage at pin 10 (LB/BK) on your driver's side control board. Its the same voltage source for both left and right sides but on different pins of the board / controller... pin 3 (LB/BK) for left side, pin 10 for right. Hope that helps.... assuming my 96 reference is close to what 97 has.

Door lock schematics. Aux Relay Box #4 is located behind interior trim panel on rear drivers side (cargo area).
