This was a great event put on by www.baja4x4.org

I had a blast & was happy to find the best wheelin' spot in Baja is only about an hour from my house. This place has a little Moab, and Rubicon, and TruckHaven all rolled into a small area.

They also run CODE off-road races near here about twice a year.

Since most of you will never get down here, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

It's right on the border about an hour east of San Diego. There's even a border crossing at Tecate.

There was a super steep slab that claimed about 6 axles through out the day, the bottom was straight up for about 4' then it tapered back, I couldn't even get a tire up on it to give it a go.

This guy in the lime green Toyota got frustrated & decided to give it a running start. He climbed way up onto the next hill & came screaming down & hit the wall at about 40mph

He smashed the front of the truck, bent the frame & broke all kinds of stuff, but the funniest thing was his camper trailer shot straight up about 20' & landed on the other side of the jeep next to him.

In these pic's you can see him roaring down the hill to the right & then see where the camper shell landed after he hit. Not to be deterred, he spent the rest of the day driving around backwards.

PFFFTT LOL that was the funniest thing i've read all day!!!! Gotta watch out for them chupicabras...damn goat suckin bastids!
