i'm not sure if it's in the same place as yours but on my 2nd gen, it's on the passenger side footwell area.. its hidden behind the carpet and the switch is on top..

Yup. First gen, in the passenger footwell, slide your hand along to the front of the footwell until you feel the top edge of the carpet, then pull it back. You'll find the fuel cutoff switch there - it's red. Press the top of downwards it to reset it.
Mine popped after doing donuts in a gravel parking lot, and I'll tell you right now it probably won't physically feel like it needs a reset... I couldn't tell it had popped, but I mashed it anyway and life was good after that.
The Fuel pump inertia switch does NOT need to be reset when the light comes on. It only needs to be reset upon sensing an accident. You can press the reset button anytime without any adverse affects.
